Aisa's parents messed up to teach their daughter some humility. Though she certainly isn't painted in the best light, she's still just a small child.
Good on Maki to give her genuine advice with that in mind. Now on to some shock treatment and a harsh reality check.

Yeah, those are genuine concerns to raise for method acting. In some aspects, it's even worse than forcing kids to focus on grades and not competence.

Even if she were to succeed at getting results, it chips away at their mental stability at exactly the age where mental boundaries aren't reinforced yet.

Old enough to make money means old enough to carry own weight regardless of age are typical idea on current time.

At least daddy still looks salvageable, he is not raising his voice and tell his girl to LET IT GOOO when girl taste her first 'defeat'.

page 5 wach -> watch
page 6 I'm home in -> I'm home
page 8 has a double space before Aisa
page 12 >how come the two of you here together.
I think you need a verb in there
Thank you for the corrections. :hearts: I'll fix those and a few minor text-alignment issues which bugged me once I'm back home.

I kinda, sorta rushed this one out and it shows. :slap:

Edit: Fixed (That is, unless I managed to miss something time time 'round as well.)

Could you also change the font? The dots on top of the Is and Js is very distracting.
I'm absolutely up for suggestions, yes.

My inexperience in scanlation no doubt shines through in several areas. Not to mention that, fonts are something I've never been able to quite get. Sure, I see the difference between Arial and Comic Sans, but that's about it. 😆

The current one for dialogue is Anime Ace v3 Regular and for things like signs I went with Anime Ace v05 Regular. Both I probably got from a basic starter pack somewhere.

I guess you mean the one from online-fonts?
A font by the same name (also free for non-profit use) on blambot.com (and also Anime Ace 2 with the same license) would be better.
Got the files from Google Drive or something I believe, and I figured the one I was using was that same official font, but apparently not.

But yeah, anyway, I have got the official font files now and will be re-editing the chapters I have already uploaded, and of course use them for any future chapters I might do.

Honestly a bit hard to tell any meaningful difference myself; but seeing as the proper font is what many others seem to use as well, I should be using that one regardless.

Besides the dots on top of the Is and Js, I can't see a difference.

either she'll double down and be bitter or they'll end up being best friends at the end

Depending, i feel like a lot of child actors are so b/c their parents make them go into the industry as opposed to it being their own 'choice' (altho despite being a nepo baby, modeling tech diff but prolly some overlap with acting, you'd think her parents would use money to have a personal harsh acting coach or so as opposed to just lucking out on opportunities, b/c idk about japan but i wonder how many places outside cali/hollywood/new york where you'd just walk around and stumble across some casting call for younger actors that'd be lucrative versus knowing where to go for auditions)
