Yeah I don't know what they're doing. That's absurd. It's exactly the original artists worst nightmare. Artificially extending releases is also suspect, especially when the series is about over. There's not much after this.

Was coming to point out how the translator was setting themselves up for a banning with that dumb hostage-paywalling, but I see I was late to the party.

IIRC the series is just about done. Just finish it. People support good groups that show a commitment to delivering quality without being obnoxious about money. Whinging that you want more money under threat of withholding the rest of the release is stupid even before considering it's (justifiable) grounds for MD to ban you and purge your work.

Oh I didn't fully understand what they were even asking but charging money for pdfs of fan translations is a really fast way to get unwanted attention from the original publishers who most certainly know about this site. 😅 Just unwise all around.
