No, it's exactly what I wrote it is. And no, it's not an astronomical standard. It's literally your (figuratively you; or literally you, as applicable) job as a typesetter for the target language at hand to know about said target language's rules of line breaking. There are no two ways about it. You either follow them or you fail to do so, and if you don't, are not somehow magically exempt from scrutiny. You produce shit, you get called out for shit.
