Dumb place to stop. The world is facing both a birthing crisis with the lack of men and a new threat from literal monsters emerging that they can barely defend against. The government wouldn't even entertain locking the MC up. More realistically they'd try to find some way to control him, but they'd do that anyway. They probably still will do that. Either way he's not going to jail for being the accidentally being the ****ING which he realized in a high stakes high stress situation involving literal monsters in which the government failed to protect him (a stupid valuable asset). That his sister would even suggest the property damage and explosion is remotely comparable to how much MORE important he just became (on top of already being a literal historical hero legend come back and a precious man) is just frustrating. Like it's so stupid it's frustrating.

He just needs to find his way back to a dungeon and he can tell them to take a flying fuck off the closest peer.
