Love Ren so much as a perspective character. She's so pragmatic and clearheaded, and it's been great to see her inner and outer voices get more in sync.
This series is already looking like an all timer and we're still setting the table.

Mizuki is a type I really can't stand. Girl, you're an adult, learn to ask for what you want. That whole embarrassed dynamic just does nothing for me.

But I do think she's good for Ren in figuring things out. I don't think she'll be happy in this relationship, but that doesn't mean it's a bad relationship to have.

If she's joining the relationship daisy chain I trust she'll get fleshed out more.

The bigger issue for me is calling Ren mean for asking what she likes in bed, right after saying that Ren was fumbling. It's a very demanding dynamic. And then talking about how Ren is better than the shitty guys she's dated while they're fucking is a huge turn off, which then immediately turns into "date me please". She seems very high maintenance.

Which look, as someone that is high maintenance and has dated high maintenance, there are flavors of high maintenance I like and this one isn't it.

haha to each their own -- I find her somewhat endearing. She's also pretty assertive when she wants lol so we'll see if it's more of a red flag. We haven't seen much of her story yet so expecting her character to flesh out a bit more!
