Imagine someone telling you, "You should read the next Genki Ono manga; he wrote the hit manga Hima-ten!" Lmao

All in all, this was unbelievably trash.
The manga could have ended in 5 chapters, but the author decided to waste his readers' time developing a relationship for no reason.

The Ratings need to be lower; this isn't an 8, it's a 5 at best

You're legit trolling if you think this was good

Kinda dropped this like 20 chapters ago but had to see how it ended.

Himari lost?! And the childhood friend wins? Pretty surprising. The series is named after her, how could she lose?

It's over, so I don't have to worry about minimizing damages so dammit author Kanna should have won! You've got "status quo title girl that doesn't do anything" and "childhood friend that you have no idea what to do with" and the first thing you do to gear for the ending is to shoot down the one girl that didn't have any obvious writing issues?? And then you have the gall to put her on the cover of the new volume???

Like, I still think that Hima would have been the worst option to win, because she literally didn't do anything besides just drift along safely by virtue of being the title girl, but that still doesn't excuse going with the "meh" option instead, you know? If you wanted Honoka to win, you should have given her the same amount of depth that Kanna had, at least. (Really, she should have had that no matter who was going to win, actually! Same for Hima!)

Best friend? Lol that was a little corny. They didn’t see each other again. Read a comment from the last chapter saying this might happen. The person was right. I guess everyone gets a happy ending. 7/10 manga.
Yeah dude seemed a bit sad she hadn't called him/updated him on shit. Well deserved. Lmao.

Guess when Himari corrected him and said she's not his friend but his best friend, she was lying again. Thankfully, liars usually get the outcome they deserve. ;)

Kanna is good character but everytime the chapter has her in a bikini it always feels wrong.

Now I remember why I let it just marinate and overtime just forgot to come back again.

Just read the previous one and the last after that and all I can say, the ending feels like the end instead of THE END.

Without looking at spoilers, i just see "trash", "so ass" as commentary. Somehow i expected the end to be unsatisfactory. Guess im in no hurry to finish this.

All the crash outs over the ending made sticking with this one worth it. :kek: This reassures me that when KanoKari finally ends it's gonna be peak comment farming season.

well, it's now clear the house cleaning genre has nowhere to go (happy or otherwise) unless you do it with maids, we've known this since Hayate but i forgot

I can't imagine this wasn't just a rushed ending, simply by the fact that childhood friend won but also because of the titlee. I mean obviously the ending was rushed either way but definitely suspicious either way.

Sigh.. not exactly a bad ending but definitely went from a solid 9 to a 6-7 rating.
Frankly authors really shouldn't develop 'losing heroines' so well unless they're going to go for the omnibus or harem ending :pout:

In order to be a 'losing heroine', the FMC first needs to act like a heroine. Repeatedly lying is NOT heroic behaviour, and does not deserve the win.

Wait Honoka cut her hair?! Fuck this bad end. 0/10 trash. Please add "tragedy" tag.

thats it? feels like Honoka was barely in the entire story and when she wins she gets what like 5 pages. I really dont have a problem with her winning but it genuinely feels like the author wanted to actually tell Himari's story
Honoka simp here & CHF enjoyer.
You nailed exactly what what was wrong with this ending and this whole last volume.

This was ass because Honoka didn't do anything worth the win other than exist and be an everygirl sweetheart.
We don't get any post-confession dating chapters because there is no commonality and compatibility other than "we were crushing on each other in middleschool and too dumb&shy to act on it" because neither character was given a real chance to develop that connection.

They were utterly stupid cute with each other when Honoka got out of her shell and was motivated, but outside of "I have a crush on them" they got no actual chemistry or interactions. Their relationship is basically "that person I have a crush on for no explainable reason I just do" so its shallow because it never got any development.
The best chance for that development, the Ski Trip redo, got canceled and it was syrupy diabetes with Ten's response, but that wasn't chemistry.
even on their date they were both so stuttery and nervous It was cute to watch, but the point of this shit to see them grow out of that stage.

Ten and Hima had infinitely better chemistry, and what I was hoping we were going for with Hima's "I want to make ordinary girls feel extraordinary" was she was going to play Cyrano for Honoka. But she just girlwhisperer for Tenchi - because this was very clearly set for a (deserved) Himari win.

Could've been good but, yeah, the executionwas really bad. Anyway
Yeah I don't hate what they were plotting for, but this was just abysmal execution.

Sigh.. not exactly a bad ending but definitely went from a solid 9 to a 6-7 rating.

Or at least give the winning Heroine equal development. Honoka was my girl from the start, but she deserved the win the least of the three.
