I don’t read that, but from the summary and tags it’s a completely different type of story. It’s not a harem, action/romance manga. In a harem series, I’d like to see the MC actually spend time with and deepen relationships with the girls in his harem. That’s not exactly a wild request.
All i'm saying is that there are audiences out there that like tournament centric story. Just because this manga have other tags doesn't mean that it isn't tournament focus. You are acting like everyone have the same taste as you is just ridiculous

But the tournament ISN’T the focus. That’s simply a plot device to add new girls into the harem. I can guarantee an overwhelming majority of people who read this manga aren’t here for the colosseum fights. Most people are reading this manga for its ecchi/harem elements, not the fights. And it’s frankly ridiculous you apparently cant see that.

If this manga wanted to just focus on the fights in the colosseum it could do that, but it’s not doing that. The ecchi/harem/romance aspects are a huge part of this manga.

thank you for translation
I think if I remember if he loses to any of the women he gets his gender change to a girl as well. Well that is two more for the harem and I'm curious what his plan is it seems he saw this coming

The first time we saw a defeated opponent get gender bend and fucked by Mikagami after so many years.

The woman who summoned Mikagami and then sold him into slavery once his ability turned out to be copy, the one who used to lead the Elite Four girls, re-read the initial chapters, she's the initial main antagonist before she ran away temporarily after all the Elite Four girls lost, also Fine's aunt.
Yeah she has it out for the male lead and once desperately defeat him especially after losing the four elites who she was so proud of and now they are falling all over him and giving him advice

Read again the chapter they came up "they subjugated a Behemoth at 18" so they're at least a few years older than that, like Alice in here that's 19, or Rebecca in Cyberpunk there are girls who are old enough and have a petite body but are just short, if you don't like it it's your preference, there's many people that didn't like the nun because they thought it was too fat. I myself don't like those with abs or the ones that get genderbent because they were guys and can't help seeing them like one it'd be fine if they were just friends though (not trying to make a pun).
I actually completely forgot about that in the previous chapter. I'm fine with Rebecca, but the twins here just don't rly feel right for me.

The main focus is the tournament. No doubt about it. I'm sorry if you still think this is a romance story. But everything up till now is all about the tournament. 80% of the story up till this point have been about how to fight in the tournament. The romance part is mostly for character building and fan service that everyone can easily ignored cause it doesn't affect the main plotline.

Rosen garten saga and record of ragnarok follow the exact same story structure. 80% of the time is spent on fighting. With 20% about typical shounen bs like friendship, romance, yada yada.

People absolutely are here for the fight. Otherwise we could just read hentai. The plot setting is just cheap hentai plot. The fight on the other hand is brilliant with how mikagami can overcome the odd with his stupidly bad ability. Rosen garten saga is another example of this. The manga isn't afraid to throw sex in your face almost every chapters. But it also have one of the most gorgeous fight ever draw in manga history. Anyone who said i only read RGS for the sex would just be lying to themselves because of how epic the fight really is

I think the op was trying to say the main appeal was the fanservice and sex which isn't wrong, like genuinely would you have read this manga if it didn't have those elements? And if you would why would you read it over Record of Ragnarok (a series that have actual stakes plus a majority of other things that reinforces its formula) or Rosen Garten Saga (a series that also has stakes, character development for its cast, consistently solid writing, etc.)

This manga is just a power fantasy that's made clear in the very first battle when Mikigami won because of plot. If you're into that, all the power to you (I personally read this because the art is cool) but RoR and RGS are definitely not comparable to this series.

my dude the actual sex is never shown in the main chapters, that's what the extra ones are for
pay some attention
They're referring to the lack of the implication. Compare this chapter to the early chapters when Marl and Mary became slaves. Sex wasn't technically shown but there was multiple visual implications that step between the lines, this chapter just show the twins reaching climax which is lame and it's been a recurring trend with the series. Take your own advice and pay attention.

I don't see anyone talking about it, but am I the only one who finds the part where he clones himself for the others annoying?

so he gets a harem just for his clone to fuck them off screen? lowkey losing interest the moment he introduced the clones. whats the point of getting all the girls if you dont do anything with them.

No the OP didn't mention anything about fan service and sex. He clearly demanded a wholesome dating chapter. Which isn't what this story about.

I rate this manga in term of combat creativity way higher than RoR and RGS. Saying mikagami won cause of plot mean you don't even understand half of the storytelling in this. RoR and RGS are where plot drive the combat. With all the endless flashback and bs power up mid fight. Mikagami had a plan and he executed it well in order to earn his victory. And what do you mean there is no stake, here? What about the whole losing and become a slave. That's the stake.

Regardless of that, i'm not comparing this with either RoR and RGS for which one is better. They all have their strenght and weakness. All i'm saying is that they all follow a similar tournament structure. Which is an example of how a manga can live a long time just focusing on 1 tournament without having to strait into other stuffs like the romantic dating the OP want.
