Those faculty should get fired for doubting the principal
There are actually at least 3 more. The letter said "At least 4 other students." So minimum of 5 total. There's a third special enrollment person hidden in the plot by the author somewhere, right? I wonder if they show up in the "test".
No, that's a mistranslation. In the Japanese the character only claimed to be of the Count's "family", not to be their daughter or child or anything. The pronoun used is also the formal genderless "watashi". "Watashi" is used mostly in formal situations, but carries no real indication of gender. It's not as common among boys as "Boku" or "Ore", but it's much more formal and thus fits the image of a noble who's trying to sound elegant.Hmm, thought that character was a dude but she's actually a girl. Could Rei be a girl too? Hmm, hope so. Anyway, the new chapter is out on July 2nd, but I'll likely update 1 or 2 days after
Just look at the text editor. It clearly shows she's a female noble based on her reaction to Julius. Does that look like a typical male reaction? I thought she was a guy at first too, but after seeing that reaction, I don't think so anymoreTidak, itu salah terjemahan.

Hard to say. Could be fanboying, could be gay, could be a girl. The uniform makes female very unlikely as it's VERY standard to have separate male and female uniforms. Regardless, the gender is not stated anywhere in the manga to this point. Though you are right that the person's mannerisms and speech patterns are very effeminate. But then again, the same is true of Frieza. Arrogant fops and snobs are often written to use feminine mannerisms, to show how obsessed they are with sounding "elegant".Just look at the text editor. Well, I honestly thought he was a guy at first too. But after looking at the text editor and the way the character acts, I'm convinced she's a girl for now. I was just noting that the person's gender is still not stated. I know I'm a stickler for that sort of thing, but there's lots of ways this could go if the character continues. Could be all uniforms are the same and she's 100% a girl. Could be a reverse trap who's accidentally letting her femininity show more than she intends. Could be a plain trap who just acts "girly". There's plenty of jokes and conflicts that could arise based on gender in either direction, but we really don't know yet. All we know is that we're dealing with someone who's part of the Count's family.
Fair enough. You're the ones doing the translating. Like I said, I just tend to be a bit of a stickler at times. But then, this is more a matter of choice compared to the sort of things that usually get to me. This really is a great translation, and I'm grateful for that as I often find translations that just don't make any sense at all. Even official translations.Well, I honestly thought he was a guy at first too. But after looking at the text editor and the way the character acts, I'm convinced she's a girl for now. Yeah it's good to see them get along unlike that usual tropesAsta and Yuno type of friendship, I LIKE IT
Probably a dude, or a reverse trap. I doubt he is a reverse trap, though. They have different uniforms and isekai of this type seldom makes characters of that type a member of the opposite sex from the protagonist. If Zenon were a woman, it would be more likely.Hard to say. Could be fanboying, could be gay, could be a girl. Ok I’m embarrassed I didn’t notice that caption. True that does indicate she’s a woman. The rest could have gone either way but with that either she’s a woman or they’re playing dirty to convince us of a trap. I’ve seen that happen once or twice but it’s not likely. Not exactly sure what you meant by text editor though.Just look at the text editor. It clearly shows she's a female noble based on her reaction to Julius. Does that look like a typical male reaction? Look
JP:
井の中の女貴族、ゼノノ様を知らず…。
Romaji:
I no naka no onna kizoku, Zenon-sama o shirazu...
It's clearly written as "女"(onna)
I really like how Zenon and Yuno already have developed a friendly casual relationship. There is already a dynamic there that I don't see in a lot of these isekai mangas so I hope it sticks around.
