Yeah, this ending was not it, chief. This manga started out so promising, with solid backstories that made you actually want to root for both heroines. I was thinking we would just see some personal growth with the main character as he spends time and understands his feelings, but instead, he just comes out looking really bad in the end. Look, I get that this story was probably axed and the author had to pivot under a ton of pressure to make a conclusion work—I’m not going to sit here and pretend I know jack about writing manga—but we wasted the last few chapters on pointless subplots with Four-Eyes and the random guy to try to push the relationship forward. In the end, we lost out on getting any type of real romantic development for both the class president and the kohai, and that resulted in a really dissatisfying ending in my opinion.

Honestly, I can see where the author was going with this series and it could have been quite good. Asahi slowly learning to be around others, expanding her social life and Ryo slowly realizing his feelings for her. It's just a shame that the manga got axed and the author had to rush all of these developments with very questionable plot points lol.

Man so this was it? I know all mangas end at some point but this ending felt short at the end probably because i read that it was axed. Above average in the beginning then it slowly went down like a decreasing line. From 9 to 7.
