Well that's ruthless and it's unfortunate for this family that the son paid for his mother's mistakes.
Still, the source of the problem is the mother and she's still alive to send someone to track them and perhaps assassinate them. With her crow and son failing to return, she's sure to hold a grudge though she won't risk another family member.

That's actually smart, since even most barriers that are perfect spheres that they put out claims of "perfect isolation" usually let people talk and see through them; sound and light based weapons wouldn't be stopped at all.

That's a really kind and smart maid, it was a great thing that she killed the brother instead of MC because yea killing a family member no matter how shit will still leave a scar to some degree in your heart so now thx to her doing that we don't have to deal with the drama of MC killing her brother

Also its quite sad as the reasoning for the brother hating MC, basically just because mother hates MC so does he, that in a way makes him a sheep, someone that did not think to themselves and doesn't even try to resist mother makes him no better then a slave of mother
