I had same thoughts, for my version, while writing up the script to try and be about Fumi, Shinobu ends up writing the heroine to resemble Sakura more and Fumi subtly pick up on this. I prefer your more direct version where Fumi tells him its ok (makes everything a lot less complicated) to make it about Sakura. Really hoping they assemble all the key character for the movie casting if this is indeed the final volume.

Honestly that would be the best case scenario. I'll enjoy it more with more drama tho. In the end what is important is that Sakura takes some sort of consequence for the shit she has done and for the horrible situation she put Shinobu in. I don't care in which form.
