Think about how Disney princesses magically make animals appear, or have musical notes just pop up to let you know how musical their voices are, and replace that with Fire. Fire just wants to flow with her voice.

It's not just that. If her fire abilities are known she becomes the greatest symbol of destruction for the elven forest. Even if she herself cannot control her power, getting her bloodline would be a juicy political piece for creating a counter-government elven organization.

So they shipped her off to an anti-magic country that is biologically very different in appearance to reduce the possibility that anyone would be interested in her at all.

Simple shame. Page 3 literally spells out, that their voice is their life.

She's a high elf, imbued with an uncontrollable Forest consuming Fire power. They specifically mention that it would bring shame to the Royal Family, that they would birth someone that would be so destructive to their forests. The fact that she was even born, is a stain on the lineage of the royal family. A Cursed Royal Family, threatens the basis for their rule. Whoops, now everything is political. Someone with power(I'm guessing the King), chastises her (page 2), because even releasing tears might cause a conflagration and burn down their kingdom.

You don't train that away, you hide it in a tower away from the eyes of the populace. Even looking for someone to train/tutor her in the act, risks their terrible secret being revealed. In the event she is selfish enough to unleash it in a foreign land, they have deniability that she died through no fault of her lineage.


Without more details, they might possibly have accepted it if it was air, water, or earth. But without knowing more about the Voice part of their society, even that could be "fatal" to their political power. Perhaps even training the voice, is considered a taboo.

Yeah it's a dumb plot contrivance. Couldn't the elves have just gotten her the right skill orb and a magic tutor? They should've known what Reiji figured out.
