I love what a little weirdo Kunon is, it's one of the biggest appeals of the series for me. I really dislike perv characters (i.e. Mineta), but Kunon's weirdness doesn't feel like perviness to me (good thing, since he's 12, so even younger than normal for those sorts of characters). His love of the ladies has nothing to do with sex because he's 12 and just doesn't get it. At least that's my read. And he's willing to adjust his thinking and actions when it turns out that he's hurt someone (Cassis).he's got twice the confidence of johnny bravo with none of the crippling narcissism, lil bro is a menace :V
he's seriously one of my favorite protagonists atm because of how unabashedly himself he is. he's like every gag supporting character in other series who's constantly hitting on women calling em all "mademoiselle" and all that shit, except the author is actually putting in the work to show how that kind of character could end up being popular without just saying "trust me bro" like how it usually goes (they're honestly usually so annoying the thought of them having groupies seems farfetched, yet they always do, lol)
He's a true gentlemanI love how unabashedly unhinged he his
