Damn poor Kagura lost her hand. I hope she wins, but how can Kagura beat someone who can turn everything to ash? Especially now that she lost a hand?

She can disintegrate anything by touch, recover from any injury, can be anywhere she can see, can be in multiple places at once, and can even disintegrate anything by looking but generally doesn't because lol. Cattleya losing at this point requires bad writing.

Yeah.. Cattleya is pretty absurd. All Kagura has going for her is big lady strong lady. With a twist like this it'd take the asspull to end all asspulls for Kagura to win.
I think the author wrote themselves into a lose lose situation.. unless the axe was already looming before this story choice was made.

Axe or not, I'd actually have to give them credit if they do hand Cattleya the win here just for sticking to the invincible villain thing to the end rather than relying on an asspull for a happy ending.

Pretty sure Cattleya setup this scene because she knows she is immune to physical attacks.
But nothing we've seen so far points to her being immune to elemental attacks, like being electrocuted. Hence why she sent Raito away.
Next chapters will probably be Raito showing up for some reason or another and then he casts thunderbolt on Cattleya or something and then Kagura nods and says "You lost because you were alone" and then the other knights show up because Cattleya wasn't actually alone, she just chose to fight that way. Then she either dies with a satisfied smile or goes "Ah you were here all along, my guiding moonlight" before the real end of the fight.
And the last arc is just invading Japan to kill Fire Lord Ozai or something.

I have a lot of thoughts on how this is going, but I'm still torn between if this is getting axed or if this is setting up a series of repeated clashes between Cattleya and Kagura?

So rushed so aggressive. But what even is Cattleya's "utopia" at this point. Yomafication doesn't help anyone. She wants people to live hand in hand but the natural tragedy of their world that effects everyone is a just punishment for their destructive nature? ...She's probably just going to kill everybody... UGH
