I guess my my position remains as so, if Shinobu goes all the way I'm fine with it, happy for mah boi, but I'd prefer it not happen right now with Nagi's introduction. Nagi will just be what pushes her back to reconsider things. Hell, Nagi might even seem a bit bothered by Sakura's happy look when she realizes and learns the reason why they're separated.

The biggest takeway is the number one rule of a relationship. Communication is KEY.

• Shinobu smashes Fumi, long anticipated and accepts her confession.

• Nagi tells Sakura the harsh truth and Sakura either:

1 - Doesn’t care, she’s past it. (Expect Nagi to slap her with this one)

2 - Regrets:
- Goes through depression arc
- Tries to meet Shinobu
- Moods affects her acting
- Regrets getting with Ikeman

3 - Tries to drown out the depression with pleasure. We all know how that ends.

4 - Plays Victim (Expect Nagi to slap her with this one too)

• She will learn of Shinobu and Fumi’s nationwide success and come to realise that Shinobu has a talent for making stars

EDIT: If there is a potential for a plot twist, I wouldn’t be surprised if Nagi has involvements with Ikeman and tells Sakura of Ikeman’s true nature.

All solid predictions, only nit pick would be Nagi doesn't know the truth, she just understands Shinobu's character and the depth of his feelings that he held for Sakura and will remind her of that, causing her to finally reflect on the events of the day that she ran away from it all without allowing even one final honest conversation between the two of them.

I don't like this being their first time together (assuming that it is). You have the girl literally throwing herself at him while he's still moping around about his breakup. Even more so because the girl is a virgin. It's in the same category as when a character is assaulted and they immediately end up sleeping with their savior. Not the right time or place for a scene. imo.

Dude, this wasn't immediate. In the last chapter, it was mentioned that a few months have passed. Would you rather Shinobu spend his time depressed and locked in an empty room like a whiny simp?

Fumi and Shinobu will finish having sex then the next day Sakura will call except Fumi will answer the phone. She tells Sakura to meet up at a coffee shop. Fumi tells Sakura the truth about the breakup and then she says "We had Sex" to Sakura. "Don't try to contact Shinobu anymore". So Fumi then leaves Sakura there in shock and its her turn to be sad. Kinda like fuckboi to Shinobu.

Shinobu isn't a fuccboi so if he goes all the way with Fumi, he will stay with Fumi. And Fumi, unlike previous side characters, isn't coming at him with anything but love.

Frankly, cockblocking Shinobu in the next chapter would so tone deaf that there would be a collective groan world wide.

Also, it would be very crude if the mangaka tried to bring the comedy back with Sakura trying to "save" Shinobu or any kind of role reversal. Even more if she tried the NTR bait with Fumi.

So more than likely the coming chapters will be Shinobu having the relationship with Fumi that once he wanted to have with Sakura. Sakura, having learned the truth and realizing that it was her that threw everything away will try to mend things with Shinobu only to be told that it's too late.

Shinobu and Fumi end together both with successful careers. And Sakura resets, with a new manager or something being her new "Shinobu."

I'm no mangaka, but something in this vein would certainly be very rushed, but it would make us all happy and it wouldn't leave her mainstream career in tatters.

This is the way.

I don't think full on cheating is ever gonna be on the table for Shinobu unless Airi decides to throw his entire characterization into the shredder (which is a possibility). Otherwise, her possible realization moment (if) / when Nagi tells her about how Shinobu turned her down would make absolutely no sense in the long term. You make her realize something about his character then take that character trait away shortly after just because.
