Can I say I don't get how this got such a high rating? Many comments already mentioned the shy guy + social girl but there are so many other issues in the first few chapters. How they meet and basically start working together is forced, she starts interacting with MC for no real reason other than the plot pushing it. MC is terribly bland, like a cliche nerdy guy unable to communicate at 30 years old like he's a fucking teenager. Plot is going too fast, MC and FMC are mediocre, teto x egen bullshit graph doesn't even make sense. We're still early into the series but I'm bored already.

I don’t think this is a masterpiece or anything but I think anyone who thinks it’s cliche is missing the really obvious subtext: MC is not an Egen guy, he’s a Teto. It’s set up right from the beginning; the coworker wants to send the quiz to him and he takes the initiative to find it himself. He constantly surprises himself by taking an active role— he shows up to the date on Saturday and tries to teach the FL, he protects her from the son of the client without thinking about it, he bakes the sweets for FL without prompting. According to the chart in Chapter 1, it sets up that Teto girls like Teto guys, so that’s why the FL is interested in him. We only think he’s an Egen because he says that’s what he is. I guess the intrigue will come with whatever tragic backstory he has, explaining why he thinks he’s an Egen. Side note, the coworker totally likes him because she is an Egen and has incorrectly clocked him as one as well.

I tried, I liked the art but making a grown ass man shy, overthinker, and femenine is really not my jam sure you can play with those characteristics but taking it to extreme makes the character not believable appealing to anyone and even less to a hot career woman, Not every story has to be like a pornhwa, but at least the author can learn how to build raport between characters from one like love quest or at least be able to turn a situation into some flirty oportunity like it normaly happens in real life, Sad to be comparing this to porn but it is funny that the pornhwa has an story much more intersting.

Looks cute but that macho girl and fragile guy dynamics are such a clichê already, i just know his lack of attitude will turn this into a looong drag, lookin like a big slow burn, but maybe im wrong, lets see how it unfolds. Also i recognize that art style, isnt that from the same artist or studio from Overpowered Sword? Pretty sure, but i think artist is using another pseudonym
