Some kind of 'hide your true appearance except for the man of your choosing' type of custom to avoid the abductions.

Even more so with the mention of Norse-related stuff earlier in the chapter, they do have things like selkie there after all.

Im pretty sure we havent seen any mention of magic on Nobu and Gen (except magic that connect both worlds ofc)

We have at least seen some supernatural beings/deities from both worlds at least:

• the inari that connected both Nobu and Gen to this world
• the existence of old god/s on Aitheria’s side (Ch. 131: Old Gods and Eggplants)
• (will have to confirm this one! Will reread if it was this manga or another) fairy circles acting as portals (EDIT: I found the chapter!!! Ch 129: A Young Couple's Leisurely Day)

Given that, I wouldn’t exclude the possibility of other supernatural things existing just yet 🤔😆 If I’ve missed any other characters/occurences, lmk
I do adore how much world building this story has, but given its depth+length, I’m sure there are little bits I’ve forgotten or missed over time 😋

I guess what i should specifically said that there is no mention of man wielding a magic (unless its magic item like that stone on ch 131). Most of the mention of magic is happening on either gods, fairies (aitheria side) or gods messenger (nobu side)
