Well, seeing as Junior is being called Hound. It makes sense why he seems very loyal and close to Yotaka since they were younger. Now it makes me think, we have yet to see Yoataka kill anybody on page, I wonder if it was Junior killing everybody that Yotaka took down so she didn't have too. Look like they were a duo back in the day.

I think this boss might not be soon of that world down the line. Remember in the first chapter, he wanted Junior to get rid of her if she didn't come out of retirement. Now he's forcing Junior back on the field.

Somebody get me a doctor and a lawyer.
The mood whiplash this chapter gave me is good enough for a million dollar lawsuit.

Seriously, the art, the composition and most importantly, the timing in this manga is amazing.

In the previous chapter he comments that if she were at her previous level, Snake would have instantly died instead of being left on the ground with his tendons severed.

Noticing this now, if Junior's codename really is Hound (both in the original release and here) it could imply a couple of things.

1. He could be really good with scent or sight (yikes if it's scent since he has to smell Yotaka anytime she's around)
2. He may have been specifically bred (or trained) to be an assassin from childhood which could give major lore implications
3. When referring to someone as a "hound" it could mean someone who is relentlessly pursuing someone or something

Honestly I can see Junior's backstory involving him being something akin to a child soldier and not knowing what taking it easy was until he met Yotaka and has done everything since then to make sure she doesn't stay trapped in the assassin life unlike him.
A stinky girl that only baths once a week, and a guy who has a really good sense of smell

The fanfic writes itself people!

I think that's a pretty solid way of looking at it and if that does end up being the case then I can see Junior following Yotaka to the ends of the Earth. It looks like it's building up for a whole Yotaka and Junior (and anyone we may meet later) going up against their organization. Though I feel Yotaka actually killing someone is being saved for a really big moment later down the line.

Even though we don't know a lot about him, Junior really does value his relationship with Yotaka even if he doesn't act like it, and I think he'll probably get back at Kanetsuna for exploiting that close relationship just to bring her out of retirement because he's seemingly unaware that Junior's loyalty lies with Yotaka, not him.
