Iirc in the earlier chapter discussion that garbled text basically means 'Anything goes' as Sachiku skill, that kinda explain all of his bullshittery....

Really like the introduction of this two new character, hopefully they can become reliable ally to Sachiku.

There's probably a cure in-universe, but it's either lore-only (thus Shachiku may not know enough details to do it) or it was optimized AROUND (because the cure adds enough time to a run that just avoiding needing it in the first place is optimal over trying to optimize the cure).

But before he was a speedrunner he was 100% runner. He'd already used that knowledge before and he have read the lore and development books.

...Whoever that elf's friend is better be quite the character, because picking up a million contractions ("y'see"), idioms ("pumped up") and mannerisms (using "like," every few words) is not something you see on someone learning a language. It's something you'd see on a native that's already intimately familiar and comfortable with a regional dialect.
As it stands the dissonance between what's being presented and what it purports to represent is annoying and immersion-breaking.

And if that friend turns out to be a scholar of some kind instead of some redneck or whatever that found her in the forest I'm going to scream.

The MC has no way to stop Brahms yet, who can actually kill the MC easily. And since Brahms showed up early the MC has to figure out the current speedrun pattern, otherwise he may lock himself into a guaranteed death.

Probably no chinese option to begin with, the language select screen doesn't seem all that comprehensive.
