I think this will be the first episode of Season 2. The anime is going at a pace of 2 chapters per episode, and the last chapter feels like a fitting note to end Season 1 on.

Toregene was upgraded from Ogedei's sixth wife to his second. This was brought up in another thread, but both ranks are "technically" historically accurate. Persian and contemporary Chinese primary sources describe Toregene as the second wife, but the Yuan-shi describes her as the sixth (though the modern consensus is that she probably was the second wife).

It's cute that Sitara is trying to cover for Shira. Given what happened between their real-life counterparts, I'm morbidly curious to see how their relationship will change going forward.

The phrasing heavily implies they're talking about Tolui's assassination. Ogedei was partaking in the plan to exile Sorghaghtani and Toregene, but Boraqchin is referring to something she "specifically" did. Or at least that was my reading.
As for how he figured it out, it's probably because of how convenient the situation was for him (the person with the most military might in the empire died in such a way that it strengthened Ogedei's legitimacy as a ruler. And he would have gained all of Tolui's inheritance if not for Sorghaghtani changing her mind at the last minute). He knows Boraqchin pretty well, so it wasn't too hard for him to realize she was pulling the strings on all this.
