why do many of these chapters only remind me why i dropped the series. so many mcguffins and characters being several steps ahead, always. i wish they had stayed somewhere early EX level and didn't go for one such massive plot line.

great characters and great art, but kinda hard to like the story as much.

I agree. He started off as massively OP but not know entirely how to control it. Now that he does, enemies that are even stronger just keep appearing and cockblocking his journey every chance they get. I actually already forgot what his main goal is now, and what is the endgame, unless someone can help refresh my memory. It's also the main reason why I get confused every new chapters, because I don't know where this is going.

I literally just came in here to ask if it's at all worth catching up on this series. I left it when the MC dueled the old dude after Roxy's father came back (somewhere in the 30s or 40s chapters). She decided to go with MC to wherever he was headed, I don't remember at this point. It sounds like author is padding the chapter count hard. The common fate of many mangas, unfortunately.
