Before, there were emphasizing how much Fay can just sacrifice X percent of stats and demolish pretty much any foe. Now he's just being bossed around by his dad, then now this guy. Yeah sure, Eris is being held hostage (and I think his dad was doing something similar), but surely he could've done something about it if author wanted to. In the first place, Eris getting hostaged is kind of stupid.
