Rin, quite famously, doesn't want that. Like, she straight up told Takase TO HIS FACE, that while she does find him attractive, she is specifically in love with the Takase that is in love with Mikoto. If he stops loving Mikoto, he stops being the Takase that Rin finds attractive.
Now, if Mikoto, on her deathbed, tells Takase to pile every bit of love he can no longer give to Mikoto on Rin... Maybe then it'd work out.
