Like a mix of hearthstone and yugioh.
I was thinking at first the mana cap sounds like a pretty nice concept to slow down how much swing the first turn of yugioh can be...and then they just cheated out a whole combo anyway, lul.

The external mana pool cards are taken straight out of bandai games, namely One Piece TCG. The alternate summon costs is from many things, but the extra deck and "Transmute" summon being total cost of two cards is just straight up synchro shenanigans.

I do like how the author establishes actual rules to the game though.
