The drama is off-the-charts in this chapter. At best this woman is just being influenced, but I fear she wants to use O-Ten somehow. Poor girl, suffered for so long because she didn't have a mother and now she'll probably have to see an ugly side of her.

And yeahhh, and it really doesn't help that we've only had kind-of conflicting takes on her character from unreliable narrators (Yaetatsu because he's always ready to blame himself for everything, and the servant who it's only natural would feel negatively towards the woman who left O-Ten)
