I wouldn't hope for good. I'd say it'll be bittersweet at best.

Man, that backstory was just terrible.

On one side you have a group of terrorists who advocate for their right to turn into rampaging, all-destryoing monsters.

And on the other side you have a guy whose response to those terrorists is to blow up his country before they can do it.

What's the point supposed to be exactly? I get the feeling i am not supposed to see him as a collossal dumbass.

Very half-hearted attempt at a tragic backstory for a villain I'm pretty sure most of us wished was killed off in the fight right after he was introduced.

Poor Raito, this is starting to really look like a bad ending. I hate bad endings! If there was a time I wanted Raito to die; it would have been when Kagura broke him in half after mating with him for days. That would have a been truly divine way to die.
