Thank you for the translations Kontoru, great work. I will pass this on to my descendants so my great grandchildren can enjoy this too when season 2 finally starts releasing.

I've enjoyed this immensely, huge thanks to the creator and to TL team, It has scratched an itch that has gone untouched for so many years, since AKB49 TL finished in 2019.

On another note, how does this season thing work? Do we have any idea how long we'll be waiting? I haven't actually caught up and encountered one these before.

Phew, after a year and a half? It's finally coming to an end… it was definitely a long and fun journey.

Anyway, this time it was Mooyoung and Jeongah who got eliminated. Mooyoung was expected since she already gave hints about it in the previous chapter, and Jeongah… there's nothing much shown of her other than always being at Soae's side.

And I truly didn't expect there would be new trainees joining; that means there's absolutely no chance for both Suryeon and, oooooh, especially oooooh Minji to debut, and more harem for Sanghyun, I guess? Haha. I guess Author-sama is really just going to use Suryeon as Yoil's stepping stone.

Lastly, we're shown Soae's devastated expression here by author-sama. I'm really curious why now… There are only a few possibilities I could think of.
  1. Soae thinks Sanghyun gave up on his dream due to the incident that happened before and couldn't come to terms with it.
  2. Soae realizes that Yoil and Sanghyun are the same person and is hurt because Sanghyun keeps lying to her, and she thinks Sanghyun doesn't trust her.
  3. That something Seoyoung said actually happened.
Is this what Sanghyun meant in his monologue before?

(If there's any weird phrase that makes it hard to understand, feel free to let me know.)
Nah I think it’s genuinely option 1 it would make the most sense because her motivation was to climb the ladder in order to maybe one day reach him if he was still chasing that dream or was already in the field so to see the one you admire give up is a huge shock to her and honestly its bouta be a rough soae arc for sure..

The romance route started?
I don’t think the Soae situation would end happily unless Sanghyun reveals their identity to her, and embracing her as Han Yoil. Maybe she would fall in love with Yoil form and they decided to go on with it.

Because, as long as you don’t talk about it publicly as a topic, certain lesbian acts are considered fan service in the Kpop fandom. Case in point is Sana in authors favourite group Twice. I had seen their concert and knew how cuddly they can get ON STAGE and they’ve been known for that for a long while. (Thus all the Sana gay jokes)

Season Break 3 to 6 months

Planned rest, writing the next arc, and drawing a buffer.

Likely Song has the next arc planned but just needs some rest.

Normally its between 60-80 Episodes and season, i imagine he was trying to manage 80 from the chapters.

The season break also allows time for formatting new chapters and thumbnails.

They often over translate or get the context wrong, plus a lot of context is lost via localisation.

Kontoru's translations are much better as they keep the cultural context and use of language.
Where do they over translate or get context wrong? I don’t remember anything like that
