I'm surprised that no one has realized that Sister is, in essence, another Utena. She also loves and admires magical girls just as much as she does, with practically the same fervor. The key difference is in how they do it. Utena has one way, and Sister has a completely different one. Sister's vision is, "I love them, and that's why they must be mine. Well, up until now we were all assuming that whatever happens with those magical girls is a part of Venalita's original plan and serves his goals directly. Also we used to see Sister as a minor servant in his service, not with much agenda of her own. To suggest that capturing magical girls might be to satisfy her personal quirks in the first place, and that therefore she must be another Evil General tier figure herself to be allowed such liberties, was not the most obvious deduction, though to think of it, not an implausible one.

...That's a really good point. Makes you wonder why Holy chose those 5 for her "Endless Now Magical Girl Series"


Also, something I forgot to point out before: I find it funny that one of the girls has that "Zesty Bishounen" energy. Completely with rose.

One more point to bring up, but that was really nice of Holy to suggest that Tsugumi should go home early more often to spend with Korisu. And I agree.

That wasn't being nice, she's just being lazy and uses it as an excuse because she wants to do less work.

Its good to see the author had something planned beyond just being pervy.

I honestly doubt it. I think the long hiatus was, at least in part, due to the author trying to figure out where to take the story since it did so much better than originally expected.

The biggest twist here is Korisu's mom. I didn't even recognize her, and then people wonder about the magical girls' "Clark Kent" effect lol.

Anyway, those missing magical girls don't look right in the head. Likely brainwashed...

Also, bringing up that ex-magical girl out of nowhere seems kinda sus hmmmm. Maybe she'll be relevant? Surprise true villain?

Holy doesn't seem to be far from Utena. While Utena loves magical girls because they fight evil and legit being heroes, Holy is prob the same, but recognizes that if the heroes win and defeats the villains, there will be no more heroes.

This is very interesting, the part where Holy and Utena talk about magical girl shows. Because I think both of them knew that if they wanted to play with magical girls more, then the villains have to stay, at least once in a while.

So that raises a question: now that Utena has adapted her Magic Baiser persona and fight with the girls on a daily basis - also boosting their powers and making their powers evolve - does that mean she also plans to officially retire once she make the girls reach their full potential (how she deems that potential is yet to be seen), which is different from Holy, who is still giving the magical girls a hard time by assisting Lord before and seducing the 5 magical girls now?

Because if that’s not the case, then Utena will have to admit that she wanted is just the same as Holy, which is to put up a good fight, and “play” as long as they desire.
Holy just … thinks magical girls need some extra loss and defeat to make the story spicy, while Utena doesn’t have the heart to do it … yet.

My writer's instinct says Holy wants to keep their conflict forever, while Utena is fine with their fight being done with her defeat.

Utena recognizes the role a villain has to play in the heroes' growth and her eventual end... but that doesn't mean she can't have fun along the way.

I mean Utena just before going berserk fully expected to lose and had embraced that fact. On a smaller scale this can be seen in her love of pulling a team rocket.
