Got the ShiKura in the end but it only cost almost everything in the final chapter. Least both Shinobu's and Sakura's careers took off in the 5~6 years apart, because honestly it wouldn't have happened if they didn't break apart thinking back on it, it's a cruel reality.

And this author only does vanilla romance so probably is just a classic NTR bait just to attract the attention of the readers.
And he saw her cell phone so he knows what can happen next and probably gonna enter to the hotel.

I apologize for bringing up this erotic rom-com manga again, Delivery Health I Called was My Ex-Classmate (Deliheal Yondara Moto Doukyuusei ga Kita) by Tatsuwaipu but it serves as an excellent example in several respects.
As @Jhon1617 mentioned, it is a prime example of a hentai doujin artist successfully transitioning into mainstream manga artist. This author is also female and continues to make doujin like Airi Katsura (sensi).
In terms of reputation not earnings because AK (sensei) hit the jackpot with Karami Zakari and lost the drive to create new good work already, Tatsuwaipu sensei is obviously more widely recognized for her skills than AK (sensei) who is only coasting and declining.
One is building her reputation with the new better works while another one is only coasting on past achievement (Karami Zakari). So sad.

For example, Delivery Health I Called was My Ex-Classmate let the new chapters to be read for free (chapter 10 just released this morning!) while charging for the middle chapters. Wow.

IMHO, Tatsuwaipu sensei is confident that readers would love her work and focusing on revenue from volume (tankobon) sales as she even said she's already designed for the cover of volume 2 since she's not even announced the release date for volume 1 (she said it as a joke on her X https://x.com/tatsuwaipu but it shew us her confidence on the sales).
And the free reading the new chapter and first chapter strategy proved successful because pre-orders for volume 1 broke records at a major online retailer and a second printing was required just one day after release due to overwhelming demand ! Her prediction is correct.
Additionally, the first chapter was just published in the 2026 Issue 39 of Weekly Young Magazine, driving a surge of purchases for volume 1 !!! What a brilliant move by the publisher's marketing team!
If we compare it to Grapara, it becomes even more obvious that Grapara has no selling point other than Keishi Nishikida sensei's beautiful artwork because the story is terrible and it wasn't a romcom from the start.
Agree but it's an intention, not a mistake.
Grapara is a fake romcom manga that intends to swindle money out of romcom readers from the start. Sad but true.

I don't think any publisher would dare buy the rights to translate Grapara into English because the only copy they might sell is the one to you. LOL
