Man, I really wish there would be some massive time reversal triggered once the mystery of the curse is solved—allowing the main cast from both parts to make things right and get a happy ending!

So basically, each temple has a different curse. Here's how it started : a father, who lived miles away from his daughter, heard she was about to to death for a crime she didn't commit. So he went to a temple and prayed for the next day to never come, that way, he could make it back in time to save her before her execution. God agreed, but there was a catch : he had to offer human sacrifices. That's where the whole curse thing began.
