All roads lead to Habakiri
oh shit I think Souta got too greedy, this definitely gonna end with Mitsurugi Prayers dodge. Had he just blew up Habakiri, Kuroda would be forced to do early Prayers or take 1200 which resulted in 200 hp remaining and thus he can never resolve prayer's 2nd effect
Honestly, I think he played correct. I think the play was to just hope Kuroda doesn't have Prayers.
Even at only 200 LP. Kuroda would have been able to nuke his board and either OTK or at the minimum pin him, and Gimmick Puppet can't really deal damage through the board, as you would have Purification for Condolence Puppet (maybe the only card that could win) and Murakumo to stop the XYZ summoning. If that comment is correct, he only has one card left in hand and we know it's not condolence puppet, but even if it was and he drew another one, one would be negated by purificaiton and the other by Murakumo. Not respecting Prayers isn't really greed here, his only possible out is Kuroda not having it.
Of course, Kuroda probably wouldn't have made this play if he did have it, as he could have went for the line that found prayers before summoning Murakumo, but again, the only out here is Kuroda misplaying.
