breaking speach is kinda underbaked a bit by the fact cat not only set things up for knight to get stomped by bandit but even knew about the bow, everything came up this way due to the cats manipulation... i wonder if they may have created a diffrent sort of monster? humans can be capable of so much crualty and love to spread their pain to others.

also mc is immune to the oath, if he had a brain thats weaponizeable. he could corner someone and force them into a no win with it.

The one thing they skipped over in all of this is how it is actually Louise's fault. Rather than listen to her lord she went ahead and interrupt negotiations with another party and then decided the rules of negotiation were based on a duel she decided without the negotiator's opinion.
