Fuck up on my part, wasn't paying full attention. Have instructed TS to fix.kyoujyu = professor?
I think tying the watch to a scientific explanation is a mistake, it make sense for Steins Gate, the story revolves around it and they do a good job at making it credible like a Crichton story, but here the scientist seems like a mix between a Reddit stereotype of someone loving science and a typical Manga Otaku. It's impressive how frequently I find myself thinking "this has been the worst chapter yet" with this manga. This is starting to reach DeadTube levels of stupid.
This is every edgy manga it makes Japan seem like a complete shit hole lolAfter reading through the entirety of Kimi wa Yotsuba no Clover I am utterly convinced that 70% of this world's population is born as raging sociopaths.
The remaining 30% range from average joes to being the reincarnated Buddha, who are unfortunately all meant to suffer tremendoulsy at the hands of the majority.
I mean, personally I think it's leani g toward that bei g the case, the clover that gave the watch time travel abilities was found by Yotsuha at the side of a shrine, and going by the latest two chapters i wouldn't deem it unlikely that Yotsuha's family are descendants of the union between a human and a shinto/japanese god or mythological beingI think "magic" would have been more palatable in this case, they are also adding more layers to the story but it doesn't feel like we are getting closer to the heart of it, there is more bread which brings us further away from the meat.
So the time travel science is just a red herring?I mean, personally I think it's leani g toward that bei g the case, the clover that gave the watch time travel abilities was found by Yotsuha at the side of a shrine, and going by the latest two chapters i wouldn't deem it unlikely that Yotsuha's family are descendants of the union between a human and a shinto/japanese god or mythological being
