Author writes very realistic stuff (A gay man who writes about gay men without the rose-coloured tint most of the female BL authors have about gay men), mostly focusing on emotional turmoil and growth while keeping it very SOL.

If this is a BL, it doesn't seem like one that will focus on romance necessarily, but more on the coming of age aspect. I saw the raws and even without knowing what the words said it just screamed "gay awakening" lol

By art alone he isn't your typical BL type, no pretty boy/men that kind of stuff... if anything, its leaning more towards bara (he does have some VERY bara R-18 stuff). but the stories are very nice to read. its just like i said, very down to earth, a lot of retrospective stuff. Even with this already, its just his typical lol
He does draw very nice pecs. Ahem... very rare to find nipples >.< and also I'm strangely attracted to his colouring. Its simple yet eye catching and very tone setting... idk how to explain it.

not really unless I changed my rules regarding translating romance.
I picked this up because this is sensei's first mainstream serialisation and also it has sports. I am legit just thirsty for some sports manga (that I would be willing to translate) and to show some love for my current fav doujin author.
But i honestly have not much interest in translating stuff that primarily focuses on teenage school life and teenagers SOL. I'm old now. I have no interest in teenagers' struggles, its just not interesting a topic. lived that done that.
The mature stuff of his I like, but well, some stuff are best to be enjoyed as a reader, I don't want to translate everything and anything
