To be fair it’s par for the course for him.Really cool chapter but I can't help but think ditching the feeling of fear when you've got a cracked head isn't going to end well.
I hope aoba pulls a fluke win just to see Kenshin eat shit.To be fair it’s par for the course for him.
I can definitely see Aoba injure him now as all he cares bout is triangles. Though if he wins I can see him accidentally playing the heel again like he’s still out of it so he doesn’t even acknowledge the others help and just a says wants to submit Kenshin now that champ. Making it sound like he’d retire after he did that. And that he doesn’t care for MMA to those who don’t know him. Using the four kings so that he could beat the champ and nothing else
It's probably more difficult to explain it in writing than it is through the panels. He starts catching the arm that was pushing him away by doing a roll forward, then, since he is a little too far to set it correctly, he puts one of his legs under Orima's arm and propels himself forward with it while spinning horizontally on his back to shorten the distance, and then he tries to finish it choking Orima with the triangle we see but he didn't manage to finish it closing his legsI been looking at the panel for around 10 minutes now, and I still can’t wrap my head around how Aoba was able to set up that triangle. What did he even do, spin his whole body. If someone with more knowledge can explain this to me, it would be greatly appreciated.
Through the power of brain damage Aoba submits Orima and Kenshin has a mental break down on live TV. I'm still doubtful it'll happen but part of me hopes it comes out true. Just to see Kenshin and The Director have a mental breakdown at the sight lolIt’s almost cartoonishly simple but sometimes when you’re forced into a corner. All you can rely on is the weapon that’s been with you the longest! It’s time for one more desperate gambit
This would be the outcome that would piss the most people off in the manga so I desperately hope it ends up a drawI think this fight will end in a draw, with Aoba forcing champ into defensive position through out the 3rd round.
With score looking like...
29-28 Aoba
29-28 Champ
28-28 Draw
My bet is that he gets him in a submission hold only to pass out from blood loss, right at the moment of a decisissive moment. Probably right before he taps or when his arm snaps.Nah, it's going to be close but it won't even be a draw. Aoba will still prove himself by being the one to give the greatest fight the king ever had which in itself is kind of like claiming next in line of the throne but he won't win.
