As a person who was in similar situation but with age gap of 8-9 years, 16 and 24 respectively. What he is doing is not appropriate. He gives off mixed signals father/man(as in lover)/agent. In my case though i made a mistake once, girl started to talk to me and asked if i'm single, i didn't think through and answered i was. She started pursuing me, even love letters. Actively trying to rope me in to date situations where we would be alone. Trying to manipulate me "Can you go with me, i'm afraid to go alone and it's dark already".............
I have set up clear boundaries, the moment i saw this. Also MC shared his inner thoughts of not clear rejection but mixed feelings i.e. he might be a bit infatuated by her.
In his situation he could play a role as a father figure (not a good idea, emotional investment is always bad in business setting). But he continues to do cruel things i.e. sends mixed signals. Sometimes you HAVE TO HURT them with clear rejections in order to stop this teenage alien like stupidity otherwise they will get deeper in their delusion. I was fucking 24 and knew this and he apparently was experienced in this line of work already.

C'mon man, it's pedo manga, of course author would not make it 100% doujin like but this mixed play will continue and they have 2 options will:
1) He will wait until she is 18 or 20
2) They will have friendly relationship (after some dramatic points)
