the summary is really concerning, but after reading up to chapter 14, I think the character flesh out well enough. The young actress has crush on her manager meanwhile her manager trying hard to keep his life afloat even after unknown past that has been traumatic exp for him. The male lead did not show any interest/blush or anything toward the girl's "flirt". I will keep reading this until.......who knows

As a person who was in similar situation but with age gap of 8-9 years, 16 and 24 respectively. What he is doing is not appropriate. He gives off mixed signals father/man(as in lover)/agent. In my case though i made a mistake once, girl started to talk to me and asked if i'm single, i didn't think through and answered i was. She started pursuing me, even love letters. Actively trying to rope me in to date situations where we would be alone. Trying to manipulate me "Can you go with me, i'm afraid to go alone and it's dark already".............
I have set up clear boundaries, the moment i saw this. Also MC shared his inner thoughts of not clear rejection but mixed feelings i.e. he might be a bit infatuated by her.
In his situation he could play a role as a father figure (not a good idea, emotional investment is always bad in business setting). But he continues to do cruel things i.e. sends mixed signals. Sometimes you HAVE TO HURT them with clear rejections in order to stop this teenage alien like stupidity otherwise they will get deeper in their delusion. I was fucking 24 and knew this and he apparently was experienced in this line of work already.

C'mon man, it's pedo manga, of course author would not make it 100% doujin like but this mixed play will continue and they have 2 options will:
1) He will wait until she is 18 or 20
2) They will have friendly relationship (after some dramatic points)
By the way dramatic point about exposure and news will be happening 100%.

I believe you're right about the fact that he should set up boundaries, and the MC seems to know that as well. But in the relationship of manager and actress where the actress's mental, emotional and physical well-being is also the manager's responsibility, so it's almost impossible to "HAVE TO HURT" them. You said he's apparently experienced in his line of work, yes I agree with that, but I believe this is his first time being manager of a child actress, based on the fact that he asked for his colleagues' advice a lot and he's bad at balancing his approachs, "sending mixed signals" as you say. I'm not saying that as an excuse, but as factors that makes him not really able to turn her down completely. The only hope is that the main manager returns and he is relieved of duty, and that could also one of the dramatic points in the future.

Agreed, but thats why i said he could play father figure role (she even stated that) or a big brother (not much difference when age gaps are that big). Thats not the best option and is usual , mistake of newbies but its one of the options if ypu dont have experience.
