cant read the mom at all. She already knows whats up and prolly sees tru the sandal excuse, wonder if shes just teasing her about changing schools

I don't think she was teasing, but very quickly prioritized her daughter's wishes over her career progression when she saw Mimori didn't want to do that.

I am assuming by her noticing the decorations before responding that she didn't believe the sandal excuse and let it go, but I think its too early to declare the for certain.

I can't get enough with how refreshing this manga's been. Instead of backing away out of shame, he realizes how important this friendship/relationship is to both of them.

Can't get a good read on the mom. There's no way she believed the slipper excuse. If anything she might have connected that Oura's friend and the video call boy are the same.

Instead of asking himself: "is it okay for someone gloomy like me to be this close to such a bright shining star?" He went ahead and asked himself "What happens to Minori, when she has to be Akari all the time?"

There was this shoujo manga about detective...in 1 of the case was about few celebrity teenagers got kidnapped and their parents were worried about their children's schedule or work rather than their safety...i hope this mom aint like that but looks like it will go that way

I can't express how happy it makes me that this manga updates with 40~50 pages once a month, instead of weekly chapters of 16~18 pages that just feel so infuriating to read.
