Feels like a lot this was representative of things the author did want to do or didn't get the chance to do with the story. In many cases I felt he legitimately displayed some story beats he was hoping to hit at some point or another but since the series is about to (supposedly) get the axe, much like Kagura must axe Raito, that may never happen.

We'll probably get a moment of clarity from Raito for this or that reason before the end, maybe, but depriving the viewer of both Raito's transformation sequence and a final conversation between him and Kagura just keeps tacking on to all this feeling like a slowly deflating balloon.

Maybe we're supposed to imagine Raito's transformation the same way we had to imagine what Allen fighting back would've looked like.

Or any fight before Cattleya just started dusting everyone, I guess.

I wish we'd gotten to see all of that montage. The knights were fun and hot, but if Kagura and Raito hadn't stuck with them, would we have gotten a longer manga?

The endless pain and misery continues. That montage really exemplifies what I started reading this for versus what we all got. Everything the artist (whom I had been following for a while) posted on Pixiv made it look more fun. Big girl and little guy going on adventures with this grand goal in mind. Such a shame.

Honestly I'm starting to feel like suddenly joining with the knights might have been some editor pushing to copy what Undead Unluck did with the sudden switch to joining The Union and this speech might be the writer complaining about that but it might just be us reading too much into it and the point was always for them to not get the peaceful journey they wanted.

Also people have been talking about it being axed for 20 chapters at this point, it's getting silly.
