I was having that same thought. Someone doesn't want these really strong abilities getting known and their use conditions are much more precise than the female ones, it seems like.

Also, this chapter was way too short. Wish they would've made it longer.

So two guys with genuinely strong abilities get appraised as weak, in a society that has slowly shifted towards female dominance in less than two decades, while every researcher at the appraisal facility was male.

Given how nonchalant they were, this seems like a deliberate attempt to gather strong male ability users, hide them from the ruling female ability users, stage a coup, and shift society back to being male-dominated.

Or maybe not, and the author's just taking the piss.


Also, unrelated: why are the three dudes on page 4 drawn so detailed, lmao? Am I missing a reference there, or...?

I do think that you nailed that big time. it is not just "fox" but kitstune that is said to be immortal nomatter what you did to them.

it makes the femboy a wee more dangerous than expected. as long it is active he can not die at all. explosion? hacking? stabbing? all useless when he can just heal right up from these.

Well we've already been shown that the test taking facility lies about men's abilities to try and protect them/keep the status quo so they told the femboy that all it does is make you look like a fox girl. Immortality is a hell of a power, even if it doesn't come with other abilities but it probably does.

Question is, the femboy's basically already head over heels for the MC, but is he willing to take that step to gain the ability to use that power to thwart his sisters ability?

I'm wondering if its that good male abilities are rare, but more powerful to an extreme. Women are generally more powerful, but at the highest level men actually have some of the most powerful abilites.

It may not be that they are trying to protect a female centric society as much as they could be afraid that if it becomes known that some men have extremely dangerous abilities that could destroy the world it might start witch hunts.

In a previous chapter it shows that Hiroto's sister is actually loves him and is very upset and depressed that he apparently died, and the current Hiroto we are following is not the real one. Hiroto's ability is already insane with him being able to steal peoples bodies and make them do as he says. He could straight up control the world if he can do something like take over a polotician or even world leaders.

If his ability evolves even further to possibly raising the dead (did he raise himself from the dead?), that would be extremely concerning. He could raise entire armies. So far every strong female ability shown so far pales in comparison to possession and raising the dead. Even instant death would struggle against endless undead hordes or your possessed ally stabbing you in the back.
