They avoided a truly horrible fate, sheesh. It's wild how we can have something as terrifying as dying while sleeping be a real concern in such a cozy story. The solution ended up being funny though, and considering how the author does things, the Sabbat is probably going to be one hell of a festival.

I'm reasonably sure that Akane could use brute force if things came to it. She's very powerful and very creative, so she could probably come up with some kind of destructive solution to save her own life if she had to. She wasn't at the point where enough time had passed that she would feel pressured to do so at the cost of Anastasia's mental health though.
