Orima is doing fine, he's defending all of this Aoba just has like 50 billion triangle setups and this burst of energy has put Orima off. The rest of the fight Orima was winning like 90% of it

Wrestling is very physical by its nature, but it still requires a lot of technical expertise to avoid getting locked in a submission. Orima is certainly showing that he can skillfully avoid the various traps Aoba is setting which tend to be difficult to predict, and he's doing so where others have failed because they got blindsided by Aoba. So I'd say it does show how impressive he is.

He's not playing Aoba's game either; he's not trying to counterattack with a submission, his entire focus is in escaping and putting some distance to get back to striking. I don't know if that'll change now that he's locking in and no longer worried about pleasing the crowd by winning with a knockout.

Exactly! I really don’t see how anything happening here counts as him “losing aura” when objectively speaking, he’s been winning the majority of the fight and has avoided every crazy strike thrown at him and managed to slip out of every submission Aoba has thrown up. Why at the same time fighting to entertain the crowd. If anything, that just further proves that he’s the champion for a reason. Not every showing of dominance needs to be something as shallow as a one shot kill
