Paywall scanlation groups are a huge threat in my opinion. I fear eventually they might be the norm, as they keep cropping up everywhere. And, publishers seem to just ignore them. Why? That's the only time DMCA's and criminal charges should happen. Readers would run out onto the streets and cheer for it. Yet, publishers only go after free sites like Mangadex, Comick, and Batoto.

some of them are getting outta hand with their paywall, imo paywalling 1 ch a week early is tolerable but having like over 20+ fucking chs behind the paywall is so fucking greedy, scummy n disgusting like why??? fucking paywall the entire goddamn manga/manhwa/etc at that point!

i think Thunderslop has a handful their manga n manhwa "work"(even tho their lazy asses are using MTL with no proofreader at all) have like dozens or so/more be locked behind paywall and yet they are around for a decently long time cause apparently they're immune to takedowns/DMCAs or something! (Utoon was another one but thankfully that garbage "scan" finally got taken down but they took too long with it!)

I know Phillia Scans has half of the chapters of each manga paywalled. Honestly, I don't want the owners of these sites to get physically hurt. But, I do want them to find out that their kids aren't actually theirs, then I want them to lose their jobs, and finally when they're standing in the rain in total despair, I want them to get pissed on by a drunken homeless man.
