First time someone has complained about plot progression...

plot progressing in a way that feels takes away from the appeal of the series? surely not the first one.
I feel like the appeal of the series, beyond the art and funny moments, was that Zetzuna was an actual wild card that played by no rules and had no alliances. she could be an ally one moment and a menace the next, with some inner logic that wouldnt make sense to Akita o us readers until much later. But by now its clear shes tutoring Akita and works in his favor. Unless the story decides to put her up against him for some reason which would be pretty lame and jumpshark-y, imo.

I mean the very previous arc she tossed him off a cliff and left him trapped in a valley with no food or water except tiny amounts he had to fight her psycho brother for and wouldn't let him go even when he begged on his knees, then after all of that she still knocked him out.

ywah what i mean is there was this tense antagonism at the start between the protagonists thats not there anymore, that their goals are not only different but opposite. Zetusuna already won, she groomed him. its all polishing at this point. I wish that their views werent so aligned and that she was an ever present threat to him if he stepped out of line.
Her brother already said it "u her hubby already, u just need to accept it".

for some reason I thought it would be really fun if the actual fighter wasn't the brooding guy but one of the two girls XD but I know it isn't

Kinda of a bummer to introduce two top level master characters just to say they lost to a yet newer guy (even if the girl didn't fight him yet). I'm feeling for the master, cuz he had like 3 horrible and disrespectful students and was defeated.

I still believe main character should get some more technical stuff into his rollette wheel, cuz he is supposedely a great student and an overthinking guy, who had to learn to let those things go and just go for VIOLLENCE. Yet, now he has embraced the aggression already, he can learn some less pure instinct beatdown stuff

She was probably just overly aggressive all the time, not that she didn't learn anything ever. Note that after a decade she's still familiar enough with it to recover from Kirara's throw - and she also knows Zenith which seems to be a signiature technique of the style.
I don't think it's a stretch for the Dojo raider to be in N.R. It's mainly martial artists.

she mastered that shit when she was 8. and he was implied to be her only master as well. even for a fighting manga, this is an asspull if i've ever seen one.

I don't want to run too much defence for BB because it's got as many bad chapters as good ones but:
1. Setsuna is clearly established as talented.
2. Setsuna is a perfect fit for Zenith which is more about mindset than being a complex technique or whatever.
3. Setsuna has been fighting basically continually from what we see of her so she's clearly had a lot of practice even after she stopped training with Issai.
4. Setsuna has almost certainly picked up other moves from somewhere. Her breakdown to Akita on what she considers the basics is a ton of stuff from modern combat sports whereas we see from Kirara that Kido style is some sort of old-school jujutsu.

I don't think it's particularly an asspull.

having a small kid pick up all sorts of shit without formal training and gaining the competency to TRAIN OTHERS in it would be way beyond a mere asspull. don't even have a word for it tbh. so if you believe in that, i fear you've run out of copium already.
but if you like as things are, it's not my place to criticize it. just that it's ridiculous in very imaginable way even for manga standards. i'll just enjoy the nice character designs and the fanservice, maybe some cool fighting sequences and/or poses and that's it.

This is clearly not a realistic manga and I knew that from the second Akita survived a fall out of a third floor window basically totally uninjured followed by someone jumping that distance unharmed like it was nothing. You're annoyed because Setsuna might have picked up a borderline-magic super saiyan mode quickly. We don't even know if she had formal training afterwards or not.

She's also pretty bad as a trainer. The only real move she's taught Akita so far is the calf kick. He learned Lightning from copying the bully at his school, Cross-High from copying Watanabe and the sprawl from Miu. Setsuna is pretty good at explaining concepts but very bad at actually teaching them.

This chapter was a bit of a legs festival.

I wish the true Kazutora is one of the women instead of the guy, for a great fakeout, especially the one behind him who looks a bit like Setsuna, with the round earring. Both of them could be hiding wrist bands of their own. This artist's mommys are great and I'd rather watch more fights between uber hot martial arts yanderes.
