Unlike the other comments, I actually love the idea of quickly learning about the protagonists’ pasts right from the beginning, because it will prevent us from getting flashbacks in the middle of a fight just to artificially stretch out the chapters.
The MC quickly got over his shyness about talking to the prettiest girl in school, which makes me think that if the ridiculous and unnecessary details are rushed through this quickly, it will leave more room for deeper situations and emotions.
Also, the way the families are portrayed is quite different from many manga we can read nowadays, where we almost never see the parents or siblings.
The artwork is really good too.
