Alright, this kid needs a punch to the face.

He knows how youkai feed on negative emotions, he sees the newbie that didn't even know other people could see youkai before yesterday is panicking and dreading her own existence, and instead of just ending the youkai he knows he can beat, he's just prolonging the fight to keep up appearances!

The more he keeps up this farce the more she panics, the more he dejects her the more of a target for youkais she becomes, and he still just keeps doing it!



This right here is perfect! The protagonist just assumes what's best for everyone and makes himself a martyr for no reason, then the person he assumed he was protecting with his methods outright dejects his ideals to his face! Let this be a wake up call to this idiot!
