My guess is this was something Junna has been very conscious of from early on. It might even be the motivation behind cutting her hair, to distinguish herself from that older magical girl, whatever the connection is. That also might be why she hasn’t fully opened her heart to Hane, not that I think she has anything to worry about. Hane met that magical girl once, and while the resemblance might be why she was drawn to Junna at first, it is Junna she spent the past year falling for.

I mean, Junna is that magical girl. She just doesn't remember. It seems like she was turned evil and no longer recalls that.

We see Junna, in her evil general form, wearing the charm Hane gave "the magical girl" and that's why she so desperately tried to save Junna.

If it were just a matter of missing memories, Junna would have considered it already. The problem is that magical girl should be a fair bit older than Junna apparently is, that’s why even she refers to this mystery magical girl as “older”. Considering it was only two chapters ago she was questioning if she had an older sister specifically, that seems like the most likely explanation but it could be something like a type of stasis, or cloning, the latter of which would explain the lack of memories.

Yeah, in the chapter before this one there is a chart that shows the kind of relationship the characters have with each other and there IT is only said that Hane thinks the other magical girl and Junna are the same person, but it doesn’t comfirms it. So I think it would be a better possibility that Junna and that magical girl are are sisters, instead of them being the same person.

this started of as some strange joke manga, but then they seem to have decided to give it more plot and more pages?
i don't dislike it, but the tone is kind of all over the place, so it's a bit wonky at times.

Give it some grace. This is just sort of how story ideas develop, but we usually don't see the process happening in real time.

Also, damn Junna there's fumbling the ball and then there's spiking it into the dirt and doing the saddest touchdown dance in the opponents endzone.
