I hope Iwabuchi was the whole iceberg and not just the tip of it, like Rika was tied to some high-ranking government figure and Iwabuchi was just a small part of a much larger network or something. I'm also not a fan of Rika just taking over what Iwabuchi has. Just let it end here and move on to the closure of the story.

It seems to me that this is his main mistake, she will throw him away like Shingo. The second nuance is that Iwabuchi has another copy of his server. • Iwabuchi will break, Sousuke learns from Misato about Rika's reaction and obsession, and the cliffhanger will be Akiba telling Sousuke what Rika told her earlier in chapter 91;
• The only way to win against Rika is to give her the win, and make her regret it.

I'd also like to add that the Family trips that Rika and Sousuke had were the opportunities for her to drug Sousuke and perform videos which were later given to Shingo to tag as "Adultery videos". I glossed over Rika's Secret account outside of shingo's, so can't comment on that.

What if, out of "love" for her daughter, took her advice in chapter 1 very seriously and has found an opportunity to stop her own obsession with social media. Which resulted in using her husband as a weapon to slowly dismantle all the secret accounts she has, which would not raise suspicion to Iwabachi of her betrayal. With the only thing not a part of her plan being Akiba.

I don't think I ever noticed Rika ever mentioning her discontent of Sousuke ruining her secret account businesses. Even her reaction at the end of chapter 97. She doesn't appear at all angry or maybe her smile is a mix of anger and amusement? I've no clue. But yeah, 2 more volumes means no Rika vs Sousuke Encounter for the next few chapters.

- A personal belief of mine is that Rika played this entire arc in a win/win situation. If Iwabuchi had a backup( and considering how much he likes Rika) he probably let her have access to it. if that's the case, if Iwabuchi had won, Sousuke would only get hard, and want to have sex, with her. If Sousuke wins, then Iwabuchi loses his server, and she's free to use his data, blackmail people and start her own business as well.

This is probably what Rika meant when she said "Doesn't matter what you do. The results will be the same." That desired outcome was guaranteed.

The sheer lack of creativity and the painfully formulaic nature of the genre go so far that I genuinely started wondering whether this plot was written by a human being at all, or by some soulless machine.

To be honest, the manga got worse with the "bar" volume. It is in this volume that more and more incomprehensible and ill-considered plot moments occur. Starting with Akiba's behaviour and actions (Ark "in the bar"). Ending with Ricky's behaviour, where she "gives" evidence of adultery. As for the volume "A trip to Ricky's hometown" and everything that happens next, it's a way to prolong the plot (Soske and Ricky's meeting). It is in the last volumes that there are 10-15 sentences per chapter, half of which can be thrown out. Half of the entire "party" arch, especially the beginning, can be deleted and nothing would change. I'm talking about where Sosuke just came to the party and until the moment when he entered Miyabi's room.

Follow the main plot, but some changes here and there to make it more beliveable. But the real change is solely based on Rika. If her reasons are less enjoyable, or easy to assimilate, they might change it into something more appealing, or rotten.

Since the main intrigue should be related to adultery and the husband has already confirmed it, then in order to support the intrigue, the author only has to deny that the wife cheated on her husband. If the author really wanted to support the intrigue, he should have done this: 1. Arch about the bar. Soske shouldn't have seen Rika, but only heard her when he was in the bathroom and when she was in the room (Dialogue between Shingo, Rika and Shiratori).Or even see Rika from behind (not see her face) when she enters the room with Shingo and Shiratori. That is, Soske should have guessed that it was Rika. 2. Ark about a school trip. Soske was supposed to get a SD card, but he shouldn't have had time to see what was on it. That is, Soske was only supposed to interrogate Shingo and get information from him.

Later on, while trying to find her, he shifted it to Iwabuchi. It took until Miyabi's technique of projection for he to realize the wild goose chase was already over, he IS in fact trying to find Rika and get his revenge on her, for the affair and for Misato. Now WHAT he plans on doing is what intrigues me. At calm, he may talk about divorce, but when push came to shove, he really strangled Miyabi thinking about her. So those are the cards we're dealt.
