"Company policy forbade"... giving the customer THEIR hardware back? Uhh, thats illegal as fuck. When a repair place replaces stuff in your electronics, your old parts do not just become THEIRS, you the customer are paying for all the replacements, AND they have to give your shit back. That is not how that works.

Thanks for the words of support guys. I did not want to take the spotlight away from the story itself, but I felt that I owed you guys an explanation.

The asshole company I was talking about is a tech insurance company--that has seven letters and starts with the letter "A"--that has been good in the past and replaced my dead laptops with the latest versions of them a couple times, but I had to drop them a year or two ago since my finances were in the dumps and it seems there were some changes with the company while I was away. The shop I use--that is now under that company's umbrella--had to replace my laptop at one point and called to ask if I wanted to do a data transfer for $100 to which I said yes because my data was worth it. That was why I had no worries about this case going into it. The company however, in this case, did not.

When I called them, they claimed that I should have made a backup copy--which I could not do since my laptop would not even turn on--and that the hard drive had no data on it. They claimed it was somehow fried and the data was unsalvageable. I found that suspect since the shop guy I talked to said that after examining it the only damage they found was a bloated battery. So I asked for the hard drive back, the guy I talked to said it would not do me any good since the hard drive was dead, but I wanted to hear that from my guys so I demanded it back. After talking to his supervisors, he pulled the company policy BS on me and my demand got a lot less polite. You guys already know the outcome. I am still playing catchup on what I can recreate, but the rest...

Thanks again, guys. Glad I could also bring Alex back from the dead for everyone, lol.

Thank you for explaining your story to us, but I have a question: Did Alex not die? How did he survive? And what happened to the protagonist? Did he die and come back to life? What power did he gain? And how did that girl sleep with the protagonist if he was dead before choosing the new card? There are many missing and unclear details. But thank you for the translation; I've been eagerly awaiting this manga.

I once again reiterate: Get a lawyer and sue their asses. Just because he tried pulling some "company policy" BS with you doesn't mean that it's suddenly legal. Hell, even just the whiff of legal consequences from a legally-worded brief notifying them that if they do not make right they will be served papers to see damages rectified would probably have their hairs going white as they scramble to make right instead of whatever shady illegal bullshit they're pulling here. Hell, just going above this asshole's head to his boss (who might not actually know that his employee is fucking you over) might be enough. Don't just accept the bullshit.

OMG, I've dealt with those fuckers...my laptop needs some mild repairs and i had to fight them for 2 months, telling me that i didn't make the right claim and i sent in an iphone and needed to fill out the right paperwork (i don't own an iphone), and then they were saying that i never sent them a laptop to begin with... i was at least smart about taking pictures and videos before i sent it in and also recorded my phone calls, i ended up talking to one of the higher ups to settle :aquadrink:, and yes i did get my laptop back...but FML

That is more than one question, lol. I just double-checked the raws and it looks like Zarmen asks that as well and the others tell him. As for the other questions, as far as I can tell he can only see the reincarnation God if he is getting reincarnated and that can only be done if you are first dead. Besides, the system's Bitching Betty did say "Terminated" and "Restart" which tells me that yes, he did indeed die. As for the new card, time will tell. All I know is that after he picked the card and he said "luck" that was a direct translation. Not sure what it meant so I just left it as is.

No, it is an insurance company so I am paying $40 a month (it was $25/month when I left them). I would love to get rid of them frankly, but we have a freezer that is older than me and appears to be on its' last legs so...

In chapter 44, we saw Alex severely injured; he was supposed to die from those injuries, but now we see that he's alive. How is he still alive? They didn't explain that in detail. Also, how much time passed between the protagonist's death and his return to life? Was it just one day? Was Cindy having sex with the protagonist while he was dead, unaware that he was dead? That's really strange. But thank you. I really enjoy talking about the details of events.

No worries. I enjoy discussing the story too, hence the reason why I am here in the first place. It looks like we will get at least some answers in the next chapter, but I cannot confirm anything yet since I have not translated the dialog yet, I only have the raw images to go by and they do show some panels of the post-fight. Give me a few days and we will all see for ourselves. Btw, are you enjoying the extra dose of "Mommy Milkers" I added? I know I am.
