I mean the issue is she likes MC and doesn't really care that much for the other guy she's just using him as an emotional rebound. Whereas MC's issue is he likes her but he just likes Ria way more and is basically too indecisive and wants to have his cake and eat it too.
The most healthy ending would be for her to confess she kissed the other guy, the two have a heart to heart and they break things off and he can go be with Ria and she can move on and find someone better for herself. But that's not how manga logic works so we're probably in for a couple of chapters worth of nonsense soon.

I can't wait to see the answer; I just want the two of them to put an end to this. I want Suzuka to have some shame, admit to the cheating, and move on with someone else, while Haruka admits his feelings and officially starts a relationship with Rias. Let's just wrap this whole drama up already.

What’s about to happen is so predictable it’s disappointing. You only have to look at what happened with Grapara!

It wasn't so much a matter of choosing her; rather, he was tormented by guilt and felt it necessary to be honest with his girlfriend—who had always supported him—though I highly doubt she will be equally honest and confess about the kiss with her committee colleague.

He didn't choose her; like the other comment said, he did it out of guilt.
Also, even if she is his girlfriend, there was never an option; the guy practically only sees her as a good friend and only has eyes for Ria.

We would all like that (after all, they are childhood friends), but I highly doubt the author will let them be happy together.
We could have gotten that in the first chapter but no, we are getting series will drag the drama till the sales plummeted or something like that.

It certainly seems that way , what will happen to train wreck now. Did she full on cheat too, well he has been like that for a while now. I also don't like the girlfriend mindset it's not wrong to think I'm girlfriend I'm no 1, to just be a placeholder is rough and won't lead to happiness.
Even if it's a clean break and he can have guilt free sex with ria, I think part of the attraction was the temptation the fear of getting caught and doing something you shouldn't. He's already cheated on 1 girlfriend, who's to say he won't do it again
